Ghost Mannequin Photography for Clothing

Ghost mannequin photography is an effective way to present clothing online. It gives garments a three-dimensional shape while keeping the mannequin itself invisible, allowing customers to focus on the cut, fit and details of the product.

This approach is particularly useful for clothing brands, manufacturers and e-commerce stores that need a consistent catalogue across a large number of products.

Pricing depends on the garment type, quantity and number of views required. See our current pricing or contact us for a quotation.

A typical ghost mannequin workflow can include:

  • studio photography with professional equipment
  • a clean white background
  • accurate colour reproduction
  • professional retouching and compositing
  • web-ready file preparation
  • file naming based on your product codes
  • test shots before the main production

Ghost Mannequin Photography – Frequently Asked Questions

How many garments can be photographed in a day?

This depends on the complexity and condition of the garments and on the number of angles required. For straightforward products, a photographer and assistant can process a substantial catalogue in a single production day.

Can the garments be prepared before the shoot?

Yes. Garment preparation such as steaming or ironing can be arranged when required. The exact scope and cost are agreed before production.

How quickly can the final images be delivered?

Ghost mannequin production has two stages: photography and post-production. Post-production includes colour correction, retouching, combining multiple frames where necessary, removing visible mannequin parts and cleaning garment imperfections. Delivery time therefore depends on the number of products and views. For larger catalogues, we confirm the production schedule before the shoot.

What mannequin sizes do you use?

Our studio uses professional mannequins. The female torso is approximately size S, with measurements of 84 cm chest, 65 cm waist and 93 cm hips. The male torso is approximately M/L, with measurements of 100 cm chest, 80 cm waist and 105 cm hips.

Can the work be carried out under a formal agreement?

Yes. Contract and production terms can be provided when required.
